PYP - how we express ourselves Connections between written and musical narratives
At Renaissance College, classroom teacher Tania Martin and music teacher Jennifer Venance collaborate on a unit of inquiry with the central idea that stories can be constructed, told and interpreted in different ways. Once students build their understanding of this central idea by drawing connections between written and musical narratives, they compose their own stories and musical pieces to share with their peers and families.
